What is GrooveClix?

Simply the best metronome for musicians available. GrooveClix does more than just keep time., It provides a musician with a backdrop of real human "feel" to practice with. Meticulously developed over several years by Jay Oliver and Robert Bailey, GrooveClix is an amazing tool by musicians for musicians.

Why are there different subscriptions?

Quite simply, different levels of musicians have different needs.
Not all musicians are going to want to create Set Lists for live performances, use pitched click sounds, practice drum rudiments, or use GrooveClix to automatically detect the tempo of a song. To access those features, you'll want a Pro subscription.
If you want to listen to some basic grooves in addition to the basic click sounds, or use some different time signatures, you'll want to get a Lite subscription.
And if you're a seriously badass drummer, you'll want to got he extra mile and purchase the expanded Accents Pro and MegaDiddles banks.
If you just want to keep time while you practice your instrument, the GrooveClix Free is still the best the way to go.

Where can I get GrooveClix?

GrooveClix is only available from the Apple App Store. It's a free download. The app also runs on a Macintosh equipped with an M1 or M2 processor, although at this time, the subscriptions cannot be purchased. Due to the stringent demands of the audio system to deliver quality audio, there is currently no Android version.

Can I use GrooveClix with AirPods?

GrooveClix uses AirPlay to output audio to any destination your phone is capable of. Wired headphones. Bluetooth speakers, AirPods, USB devices. GrooveClix allows you to easily fine tune and memorize the visual synchronization to compensate for the latency in different audio paths.

What is Tempo Lab™?

Tempo Lab is an awesome practice tool (available with Pro subscription) that lets you start playing at a specified tempo, and gradually morph to another tempo over a period of time.
The tempo changes can happen gradually, in stepped increments, or change every X number of bars. In combination with the presets available in the MegaDiddles bank, this becomes an incredibly powerful too for drummers who want to challenge themselves to play rudiments like the pros.

Does GrooveClix do odd time signatures?

GrooveClix will play most presets in time signatures up to 7 with a subscription. The free version will do 3/4 and 4/4. More time signatures will be included very soon!
